Sue Garoutte, the artist of the business, has developed a technique that gives the look of old peeling paint. With her love of old advertising signs, and a flare for painting, Hawcreek Traders Vintage Signs was born.
Sue researches vintage newspapers, magazines and classic movies for inspiration in her designs. She reproduces/creates signs from the 1880's through the 1940's. Each sign is custom built and handpainted on new or reclaimed vintage wood, and no two are exactly alike.
